Suppose you’re looking for a new Aloha shirt or dress for that party next weekend or your company “Hawaiian Shirt Day”. Depending on where you live, you might have a hard time finding a dress or shirt that’s made in Hawaii, or even made anywhere in the USA. If you’re content with wearing some clothing item made in somewhere else, that’s totally fine. But if you want the real deal, a shirt or dress that’s actually made in Hawaii, you CAN still find them. Naturally, we have a ton of them in our store. But you may be surprised to learn that most of the Hawaiian dresses and shirts that are made in Hawaii are still made the way they have been since their invention back in the 1930’s. The biggest difference is in the use of computers to design and prints. Much of the rest of the manufacturing process hasn’t changed much. And if you’ve ever wanted to see how a shirt goes from a roll of fabric to a finished product, check out this video.
